In 2018 we came one step closer when removing nearly all of the single-use plastic products from our vessels on the Irish and North Seas.

During a transition period, our guests might still find some of the replaced items on board but gradually more of the new and sustainable products will make their entrance. “It is still a challenge to find alternatives for a handful of items but we’re confident we’ll get there in the end”, says Julius Bergenholtz, Senior Purchaser, Retail & Food Services.
