What did you want to become when you were a kid and why?
I wanted to be an adventurer like Indiana Jones and search for treasures. It seemed so exciting to travel to foreign countries and explore new exotic places.
Why did you choose to work within shipping?
It is so fun to work within a company that spans over so many different exciting business segments; the Travel area with e-commerce and web, the Onboard areas like restaurants, retail, hotels and gaming, and the B2B Freight area. With the help of innovation and technology, we tie them all together in a seamless way to make world-class customer experiences.
What is your best work-related memory?
The power of teamwork especially related to all the challenges over the last year with Covid-19. To support each other, be flexible and adapt to constantly new circumstances. It was hard, but we learnt a lot, and were more prepared when the second wave came. And we have had many, many fun meetings online with music and crazy hats to keep the spirit up.
Who has been your role model and why?
All the young climate heroes whose actions are doing good for our planet. And professional and super cool women like the CEO for H&M, Helena Helmersson, who makes a true difference in the industry and drives a strong value-driven global company in a successful way.
