Stena Line to open new daily route to Finland
Swedish ferry company Stena Line today announces to enter the Finnish market with a new daily route from Hanko in Finland to Swedish Nynäshamn. The new route is the next step in Stena Line’s ambition to further strengthen its position in the Baltic Sea. Starting with one ferry in February, the new route will be served with two vessels with daily departures from each port as of May 2022.

Stena Germanica refuels with recycled methanol from residual steel gases
In 2015 Stena Line made history by converting one of the largest RoPax ferries in the world, the 240-meter Stena Germanica, to become the world’s first methanol powered RoPax ferry. In 2021 we take the next step on our sustainable journey by refueling the vessel with methanol recycled from residual steel gases.

Stena Line takes delivery of Stena Scandica
We have officially taken delivery of our newest RoPax ferry, Stena Scandica, on Friday 18th June. The vessel is the first of two Visentini vessels that are being lengthened and modernised by Stena RoRo at the Sedef Shipbuilding in Tuzla, Turkey. Stena Scandica will start operating on Stena Lines route between Nynäshamn in Sweden and Ventspils in Latvia in the beginning of July.

Stena Line’s new ferry ‘floats out’ in China
Despite the ongoing pandemic, ferry company Stena Line has achieved another important milestone in its major new fleet investment programme with the ‘launching’ ceremony of the first new extended E-Flexer vessel in Weihai, China.
