This month, for the third year in a row Stena Line raised the rainbow flag on 37 ships and in our ports and terminals across Europe. Using the slogan ‘All Aboard!’ to celebrate our ongoing commitment to the LGBTQ+ community. As part of our ongoing support for Pride we are proud to announce that we will be participating in the Pride in London Parade on July 2nd.

2021/22: Driving forward a sustainable future

Stena Line Propeller Prize – awards for innovative entrepreneurs go to Life Finder Systems International and Cetasol
Stena Line proudly announces that the winners of the company’s Propeller Prize 2022 are Life Finder Systems International and Cetasol. Life Finder Systems International won in the category of digital communication technology, while the jury chose Cetasol as winners in the field of maritime technology. The companies are awarded with a prize money of 100.000 SEK each.

Stena Line Deploys E-Flexers on Karlskrona-Gdynia Route

Offering free transport to support the Ukrainian people
We want to do what we can to help the Ukrainian people. We are offering free transport onboard our ferries to Ukrainians seeking shelter in another country. We are also offering free transport to registered charity and humanitarian organisations. As long as safety and capacity allow, the passengers will be booked on the first available sailing and all passengers need to bring a valid passport.

Stena Line sets sail to Finland for the first time – responds to market demand
On 1 February 2022, we saw the first ferry on Stena Line’s new route Nynäshamn-Hanko set sail towards Finland. The vessel Urd left Nynäshamn/Stockholm Norvik Port after an inauguration ceremony with a small group of guests from business and politics. Starting with three departures per week, the link Nynäshamn-Hanko will soon switch to a daily schedule, when the ferry Stena Gothica joins its sister vessel in the beginning of May.

Stena Line and Gothenburg Port Authority sign MOU on relocation to Arendal
Stena Line and Gothenburg Port Authority will work together, aiming to relocate Stena Line’s terminals and port operations from the centre of Gothenburg to Arendal from 2027. The new location will strengthen Stena Line’s possibilities to grow and help future efforts to reach the company’s goal of an entirely fossil free operation by 2050. At the same time, it gives possibilities to move heavy traffic away from the city centre and supports the urban development plans of the City of Gothenburg.
