We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Trade Optimiser to join our Trade Management Team to assist with the load planning of freight units on sailings to ensure an optimal balance between maximum revenue generation and customer satisfaction.

Who you are
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do, we are looking for an individual with the ability to develop relationships with our Freight Sales Team, our Freight Customers and our Port Operations Teams, with the ability to understand customer requirements with an understanding of vessel configuration and operational constraints. You must me a flexible team player with excellent communication skills.
Must have’s:
• Ability to understand complex systems, solve problems and to communicate clearly
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player
• Confident, cool under pressure and be able to multi-task.
• Flexible and being able to work at pace to get the job done, including outside normal working hours as and when required.
• Experience of working in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
• Experience within transport / logistics / ferry.
