Stena Line will be adding a third ship to its Karlskrona-Gdynia route from 8 July in order to meet the increased demand for freight capacity. This ship, which is being chartered from sister company Stena Roro, will be sailing under the name Stena Alegra and was previously named Norman Trader. The Stena Alegra will increase capacity on the route with 20% initially, and more departures will be added to the time table later on.
From the 28th of January Aivars Taurins joins Stena Line and will take on the position as Regional Director for the Baltics, Russia and the CIS countries. Most recently he has had the position as Managing Director for DB Schenker in Latvia.
